Zemplee’s new RPM Consent Form feature allows members to complete and sign their consent electronically as part of the Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) onboarding process.
This update supports compliance requirements and streamlines onboarding by removing the need for manual paperwork. Members and authorized contacts can now review and approve the consent form directly within Zemplee’s web and mobile platforms.
✳️ Feature Summary
Electronic Consent Collection: RPM consent is now captured digitally during member signup or login.
One-Time Flow: Once consent is provided, the member’s status automatically updates to Consented.
Audit-Ready: Consent details — including name, date, and timestamp — are securely logged for compliance and audit purposes.
🧩 Availability and Access Control
The RPM Consent Form feature is enabled via a configuration flag at the organization level.
Only organizations with RPM capabilities (Agencies, Senior Living facilities with RPM, or Physician Groups) will see this feature.
The flag is visible and configurable only to Zemplee Super Admins (internal staff).
Super Admins can activate or deactivate the feature for each organization.
Once enabled, the consent form becomes part of that organization’s member onboarding process.
🧭 User Experience
1. New Member Signup Flow
During signup, members are prompted to review and electronically sign the RPM Consent Form.
Once signed, the system updates the member’s status to Consented.
The form only appears once unless the language or legal version of the consent form changes in the future.
2. Existing Member View (Profile Page)
In the Member Profile, a new section labeled RPM Consent now appears.
If Consent Has Been Received:
The Status displays as Consented.
The consent section becomes view-only (grayed out) to prevent re-entry.
If Consent Has Not Yet Been Received:
The consent form can be completed by:
The Member (the elder or care recipient), or
An authorized Family Contact who has Power of Attorney (POA) on file.
Once consent is provided, the system automatically updates the member’s profile to Consented and records the date and time of submission.
Note: Only Family Contacts with POA access will see the option to provide consent on behalf of a Member. Other Family Contacts will have read-only visibility.
🧑💼 For Users (Facility Staff and Organization Admins)
Staff and Admin Users can view consent status for any member under Member Profile → RPM Consent.
Once consent is received, the status and timestamp appear automatically.
Consent records are stored for audit and compliance verification.
✅ Benefits
Ensures compliance with RPM and healthcare consent requirements
Simplifies onboarding for members and families
Reduces paperwork and manual tracking

🧠 Notes & Next Steps
The organization-level feature flag is managed internally by Zemplee Super Admins.
