Sprint 9 – Release Notes

In this sprint, we focused on making Zemplee more reliable, intuitive, and clinically useful for both care teams and families. Key updates include enhanced DAP accuracy, clearer alert messaging, improved customization tools, and expanded support for dual-occupancy households.

⭐ Enhanced DAP Accuracy & Dual-Occupancy Support

Full support for dual-occupant activity graphs
DAP activity views now accurately visualize all activity sensors for households with more than one Member. Shared sensors (like hallway or kitchen motion) and non-shared sensors (like chair mats or bed mats) are now displayed correctly for each individual Member’s profile.

More accurate vital device displays
We improved how new vital devices appear on the DAP. When a new device is added to a Member’s Health Monitoring Kit, its graph now generates and displays reliably without delay.

Clearer Pulse Ox & Chair Mat visuals
Pulse Oximeter alert images and Chair Mat activity tiles now display consistently across the DAP, improving the readability of alerts and activity patterns at a glance.

⭐ More Reliable & Clinically Accurate Alerts

We strengthened the reliability and clinical usefulness of several alert types:

Improved text notification delivery checks for No Motion, Bed Exit, and Chair Exit alerts to ensure timely and accurate notifications.

Enhanced logic for Blood Pressure and SpO2 alerts, reducing missed or duplicate alerts. Adjusted the messaging around these alerts to meet HIPAA compliancy rules.

Added clearer descriptions and updated terminology such as Vitals Not Received, ensuring care teams understand exactly what triggered an alert.

These improvements help staff respond more confidently and quickly to meaningful changes in Member safety.

⭐ Better Member Insights

We added new data fields and improved summary information to help teams interpret trends more easily:

Recorded Day Count is now shown in the Health Summary Report for a clearer understanding of how many days of data are available.

Wake-Up Alerts now incorporate sensor names for more precise context.

Terminology has been standardized across the platform (e.g., “Client” → “Member”) to maintain clarity.

⭐ Improved Alert Description Editor (New Token Pills)

The Alert Description editor has been upgraded with visual token “pills” that make customization easier and safer.

These upgrades include:

Visual tokens like $member, $duration, $location, and $fallrisk, displayed as pill-shaped elements for easy visibility.

A cleaner, more structured preview so you can confirm exactly how your alert will appear before saving.

Clearer guidance text to help teams use tokens correctly and avoid formatting errors.

This redesign reduces mistakes and ensures consistent communication across care teams.

⭐ User Experience Improvements

Added help text to the DAP Overview Page to give users more guidance about how to interpret Member data.

Standardized greeting formats and simplified several interface sections for improved readability.

Cleaned up outdated icons, labels, and terminology to maintain a cohesive experience.
