What's New - July 2026

Welcome to the Sprint 14 Release Notes.  This release delivers enhancements focused on improving member monitoring, reporting accuracy, dashboard usability, and operational efficiency. Key additions include RPM Compliance monitoring, enhanced reporting, Member Kit ID management, and expanded activity monitoring. Several stability improvements have also been implemented to improve data accuracy, alert handling, and overall platform reliability.

New Terminology

Renamed Alerts to Observations

As part of our ongoing efforts to continuously improve the Zemplee platform and overall user experience, we've made a small but important terminology update based on customer feedback, user research and healthcare industry best practices. We have renamed the “Alerts” section in the main(left) navigation to “Observations”.  We have a growing number of features that notify care teams of your client’s behaviors that are not necessarily considered an “Alert!”.  They are simply behaviors that our system has Observed.

Professional Care Team Roles

Based on customer feedback, we brought back the “Professional” titled relationship and sub-categories.  We also enhanced the subcategories to include over 40 Professional titles/relationships (Ex: Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapist, Case Worker and more). This will help Zemplee Users to accurately identify the roles and functions of different care team members per industry accepted norms and practices. With is function, care teams can capture and easily access important contact information for a variety of care team roles when a need arises.

RPM Report Renamed to Health Report

Updated RPM (Remote Patient Monitoring) Report terminology to Health Report for improved clarity and consistency throughout the platform. The term “RPM” can get interpreted in healthcare settings as a specific service, only associated with the collection of biometric vital signs.  To avoid any misconception, we changed the name to Health Report. The report itself has not been changed, only the title.  It will continue to report month-over-month outcomes for both Activity and Biometric results.

System Resolved Alerts - SensorSAFE Terminology Update

Within the Resolution Notes for System Resolved Alerts, the term “SensorSAFE” was previously included as the “Responding Agent”.  This is a legacy term that is no longer relevant within customer-facing screens or reports. To maintain consistent and clear platform language, we removed this terminology from any of the System Resolved Alerts.

New Reporting – Added Unit ID (Room #)

Based on customer feedback, we enhanced reporting to include Unit IDs (room numbers) within all the reports within the Reports tab along with any downloadable data found within the Overview Page.

Alert & Monitoring Improvements

Out of Home - Alert Generation

Fixed an issue where Motion Alerts were being generated instead of Out of Home alerts under certain conditions.

Type Image

Notification Profiles
Managing notifications is now more intuitive with several improvements:

View and manage members associated with each Notification Profile.

Flexibility to select specific members directly within a Notification Profile

Daily Activity Page - Bed Mat Visualization

Fixed an issue where Bed Mat occupancy disappeared shortly after loading on the Daily Activity Page.

Daily Activity Page – Graph Midnight Markers

Fixed inconsistent midnight markers on Activity Graphs that may have been interpreted as “activity” at midnight.  This may have caused confusion when interpreting activity patterns.

NOTE: Only sensors that have yet to be “triggered” for the day will show a “midnight marker”.

Data & Reporting Improvements

Shared Sensor Data Visibility

Fixed an issue where shared sensor activity data appeared only for primary members within Health Summary reporting.

[e.g. environments (houses/community rooms, etc.) where two Members (Clients/Residents) are both being monitored.]

Platform Improvements

Improved usability across key workflows
Updates such as clearer required fields, improved/consistent terminology, and easier access to important resources (like Terms & Conditions) that help streamline everyday platform use.

Kit ID#

Coming soon, we will be introducing a new way to identify ordered kits with the introduction of Kit ID. The Kit ID number will automatically identify all sensor and/or device serial numbers contained within the Kit.  This is a step towards simplifying and enabling DIY installations. The Kit ID will be used in conjunction with our, soon to be launched Zemplee mobile app. (more to come!)
Sticky Notes - Increased word count to 3000

DAP Calendar – Improved reliability

Corrected color-code reliability of data.  There had been some situations where the incorrect color was being presented.

Stability & Reliability Updates

More consistent and structured data across the platform
We’ve addressed several data issues to improve data quality and consistency across different sections of the web application.

This release also includes several important fixes to improve system reliability and

Alexa Daily Check-In - Improved Experience

Resolved Alexa Daily Check-In workflow reliability along with improved participation tracking, making it faster and easier for members to complete their daily wellness activities while giving care teams better visibility into participation.

Over the coming days, a member of the Zemplee Customer Success team will be reaching out to demonstrate these new features and answer any questions you may have. If you'd like to schedule a personalized walkthrough sooner, contact your Zemplee representative to arrange a training session at your convenience.
