Resting hours are calculated based on the configured dayStart times, rather than the standard calendar day (00:00–23:59).

For example, if a Member’s dayStart is set to 6:00 AM, the reporting day runs from 6:00 AM to 5:59 AM the following day.

This approach helps capture a full night of rest in a single reporting period. Any sleep or resting time that occurs after midnight but before the configured dayStart will be counted toward the previous day’s rest.

For instance, if someone with dayStart set to 6:00 AM sleeps from February 4th at 11:00 PM to February 5th at 7:00 AM, the hours from 12:00 AM to 5:59 AM on February 5th will contribute to February 4th’s resting hours.
