This section guides you through the steps of installing Zemplee in a single tenant mode for independent living seniors who live in their own homes or in the independent living quarters of a retirement community.
Who can install Zemplee for Independent Living?
Independent Living Scenario | Who can install? |
An independent living elderly parent, relative or grandparent with family | Responsible family member |
An independent living elderly with no family | A home care agency representative, a geriatric care manager, a fiduciary, or other legal representative |
An independent living elderly with remote family | Family authorized home care agency, family member or friend |
The installation process is organized into 3 different parts. Please read all instructions completely prior to or during the installation process at each stage to avoid any mis-steps. For additional support and help with installation, please refer to the Troubleshooting Section.
- Part 1 - Describes setting up the Communication Panel and preparing the sensors.
- Part 2 - Outlines the steps to get your client and Communication Panel registered on Zemplee Portal.
- Part 3 - Describes the process for configuring the Alerts and monitoring functions for your client on Zemplee portal.
Before You Start

Note: Only users with Administrative privileges can setup and complete Part 2 and Part 3. The system will not operate if Part 2 and Part 3 are not completed.
Once you have your account information, go to www.zemplee.com. Select the Login Menu and chose Agency or Family Login based on the instructions that were sent you in the registration email.
